Sighs.....you're right about Ron's potential to fall to the dark side! Here's hoping that Luna and whatever strength of character Ron has can prevent that......or I forsee Harry and Ron having a duel. It might not be on the slopes of Vesuvius or Kilauea but it would hurt Harry and Hermione if Ron turned. And if one of them actually had to kill him......shakes head. Perhaps Harry souldn't have trained him, but if Ron gets his act together he could be an excellent jedi! Crossing fingers, and hoping that Harry isn't faced with a situation like Obi-Wan's! Heya Teresa. I agree. Ron is precisely the psychological type spymasters look for when recruiting agents. That's why Harry is so upset. Jedi-wise, he is most at risk of falling to the dark side.
Luna is a most unusual character and I think my solution is a fair one. Needless to say, she has a system to keep him on track. Still there is plenty of time until the final battle.
More than that, I can't say without giving away the ending.
