when you say, "whole", do you mean a plot hole? If that's the case, then no. Hermione got into trouble in this story because she unintentionally tried to fulfill her life debt and that created her problem. Ginny, on the other hand, is a pureblood daughter of purebloods. I would not be surprised if Molly (nee Prewitt) Weasley and Arthur explained life debts to her in great detail, so she would be unlikely to trigger it in such a way.
