Thanks, Zynneh. Epic, hunh? Never heard that one before.
In Britain, taxes are nearly fifty percent of the earned income. After taxes and the deduction for the stolen month, Vernon will have five hundred or so pounds left, most of tat will go to rent, utilities and food. Basically, he'll have no spendable money.
What's more, Grunning pays more than standard because he wants to keep his employees there. It doesn't help him if he trains them only to lose them to his competitors for a few quid more an hour.
There is no charge for awesomeness.
