Great part here, and really enjoyed seeing Harry helping out Arabella there, even as Albus in all his idiotness was willing to let her die for the greater good. Got to say, Snape has gone past the point of redemption here, and will look forward to his final punishment, that he is oh so deserving of. Was gladdened to see Dudley able to defend himself and his maybe soon to be girlfriend there, and can't wait to see what happens next as the other professors continue to pull and push Dumbledore's buttons.

Heya Wonderbee!
Thanks. I couldn't leave her to Albie's mercies. He's losing his grip and any decision he made could easily be affected. A loose end like her could be dangerous to him. In that case, it would be easiest to just 'clip' that end.
IMO, Snape started out beyond redemption. His final punishment will be humiliating, and permanent. And he will not die.
Dudley: he's not perfect but he's realized he's done wrong and truly want's to make up for it. That Marissa is sweet on him is a bonus.
Hie being able and willing to defend himself, came as a nasty shock to the Deez. Five of them at least.
The button pushing will be subtle. he still has control of their jobs. By now, most of the administration of the school goes through Minerva anyway, and so, he's fast becoming redundant.
he's also a most powerful wizard...for now.
