I do like your story a lot. I do think harry gave ron waaaay too much leeway/too many chances, first friend or not.
One little, odd thing, why do you seem to always type 'Ep' for an affirmative? Not Yes, or Yep, or Yeah, but Ep. Just seemed to stand out, as I've seen it in a good few of your stories.

I'm glad you like the story. As for Ron, Harry's personality is still very much canon. As Hermione thought once, he's still that scared little boy from the cupboard under the stairs. He's actually given Ron only three chances, before dropping the moon on him.
I need Ron for the final scene, so that's why I'm keeping him around.
'Ep is a term I learned waaaaayyyy back in time when the Earth was young and dinosaurs roamed...erm when I was a kid, growing up near the Isleta Pueblo in New Mexico. with the older Pueblo Indians, when an affirmative was given, it was usually 'ep,' with a finger touching the tip of the nose.
It was also used frequently while I was both in the Navy and the Marine Corps.
I think you're the only person to have noticed.
