Poor Anna. That conversation with Jacob revealed a lot more. I didn't realize that if someone was "turned wrong" they were supposed to be destroyed. I'm glad Jacob didn't do that.
I hope that the serum helps Anna, and that Gerard doesn't drink her blood. Also I hope everything goes ok when he gives it to her.
