"Squishies" LOL!
I think you overdo Hagrid's accent and I can't see McGonagall sporting a thick Scottish brogue, but aside from people's speech patterns and the occasional use of "the" in front of someone's name (is this translated from another language?), this story is great so far. And don't worry about chapters being too long.
