Very interesting! If all else fails, Harry should be able to get Hermione to listen to him about being a boy when they meet her parents at the train station. Being muggles, they should be able to see him as a boy, just as the Dursleys did.

It's a good point - the question is if Harry will think of it, or whether Hermione will even get what they're talking about.
