On a Clear Day, You Can See Forever

Brave and bold to start out to detail any magical world other than Britain. I can't think of even a dozen attempts at that overall, and that is out of untold thousands of Harry Potter stories. So, this is not only rarely attempted, it is well done.

And I truly liked Dr DeLeon's Youth elixir, and all of the old actors on the American stage you recycled. A good touch, that.

I also very much enjoyed Hermione's fainting spell when she learned she was the second most powerful magical person on the planet.

Author's response

Thank you! As I said earlier, I'm trying to fix plot holes and injustices from the books, and to me the easiest way to do that is by writing what I know. I'm happy to see that it's a somewhat original take, and I will be trying hard to avoid cliche as much as possible.

Other historical figures will make appearances, but most all the figures that have more than cameo roles have been at least mentioned by now. I'm going to try to avoid the "guest star" trap, and keep this about the Heroes of Hogwarts, but American history is filled with so many characters that were so much larger than life, I couldn't help but wonder...
