That was certainly one of the better Animagus rituals I've seen. Way too many have the character just changing into the animal and being immediately in control and comfortable with it.
Jaguar is an interesting choice for an animal for Harry... it seems very fitting to me.
Nice chapter. This is definetely one of my favourite stories at the moment.

I know. The usual, take a potion, sketch the creature, now practice partial transformation, then take another potion......
It gets really old after awhile. I wanted something really different, where instant control is not the end result. Thanks for the kind words ~Jim
