Very well done first few chapters.
Honestly I'm tired of seeing Evil/Controlling Dumbledore fics, so I hope that's not the direction you intend to take this one... Not sure who else could own the hawk, aside from possibly the ministry, but it would be nice if it wasn't Dumbledore.
It was good to see Remus and Harry interact, even though they seemed a little too close for a meeting like this.
I like your Gabby so far, but would like to see more of what makes her tick.
I'm looking forward to the meeting of the femmes. I actually kinda hope it won't go perfectly well, as conflict is what drives any good story. I also hope that if you do go that route, that they grow close rather quickly, as I prefer to see my heroes as a united front.
