I enjoyed this entire sequence. You write very well, capturing subtle feelings in few words. Are you going to continue? I was thinking, as I read all of these vignettes, that "flame" is also red. I wondered if you had considered addressing Winry's response to finding out who killed her parents, within the framework of "red." Whatever the case, I really enjoyed this sequence. Thank you!

Hello! Thanks so much for commenting on the series. When I wrote it, I had plans for one last story, "Candy Apple" but that has yet to be written (And this series was written in the fall of last year, so it's now over a year old). There is more to this particular 'verse, though; it spawned a novel that's unfinished entitled "Marking Time" which I hope to start posting here shortly. And Winry does confront Mustang in M.T., so you won't feel cheated in that respect.
