this is brilliant!
i am a fan of the game and i think it's great to see someone writing about it. i saw in your bio about how you're not really sticking to one thing, and i think if you're looking for something sci-fi, but a bit darker than star wars, then the background for warhammer 40k offers a lot of inspiration. if you want to get a little taster of it, some of my own stories are a good place to start.
