Review for Echo
This is a lovely short piece. The way you write it makes me think that Rinoa is perhaps the only normal character in the game.
At any rate you write Rinoa sympathetically. Squall's thought that every day with Rinoa is like a quiz is a subtle hint that not everything is right even though he is remembering the scene wistfully, he cannot escape that it wasn't a perfect memory. I also enjoyed the way Rinoa stares at Squall and he tries to ignore it.
Author\'s Response: Thank you! I try to make their relationship as realistic as possible. So mixing Squall pessimism and neurosis with Rinoa's idealism is really fun. Angsty and sad, but fun. I'm glad it works! And writing Rinoa this way was actually a challenge to myself. I'd found that I didn't like her, so I made myself look outside of what I didn't like. It really helped to see her objectively. And now I can's quite give her up. laugh Thank you again for taking the time to review.
