That was an awesome little piece of great epic cuteness in the form of a fanfiction. Reading stuff like this actually makes me wonder how Gerard and the rest of the band reacted directly after 9/11. We know that Gerard started the band in response to that, but not what train of thought got him from tragedy to music. I like how Mikey helped calm Gerard down; hugs are the best medicine ever. :]
