Little-known rule of grammar: Numbers that take two words or fewer to say, "fifty, seventeen, one-half," etc., are supposed to be written as words.
I don't see why they'd argue with Yash about Kagome being "damaged." They've all seen Tennseiga work on Rin. If anything, they'd argue that it would be harder to stop Naraku without the sword.
