Is this the final chapter? It seems to be the climax, but leaving off the falling action where things are wrapped up with the aftermath.
It's been months since the last update, I hope it isn't abandoned.

It has not been abandoned. I've been hideously busy of late. I am going to try to post the next chapter (aftermath) this weekend. the epilogue will come later.
