Richie Reads MacBeth

The story relates how Duncan helps Richie studying for an English class. In so far it is AU, as Richie never went to college in the series.

However, with Richie always taking up something new, and never shying away from the improbable, I can easily envision that he takes it into his head to go to college, probably to impress Kerin, his girlfriend.

The story take the reader to an evening when Richie has to study Shakespeare's Macbeth of all things. When Duncan finds out about it, he's only too willing to drill his young friend.

The story is mainly dialgue, written smoothly and I think, quite in character for both Duncan and Richie.

Duncan is slowly drawing Richie into the tale of Macbeth, and Richie's bored, indignant and fascinated comments are funny, delightful and sometimes hilarious.

All in all, a very amusing vignette.
