So do i, i wish i was there so i could have broken one of her limbs. my parents don;t care what colour my nails are or my hair, i asked my mum if i could dye my hair blue and she said "Sure as long as it's not during school" no one noticed in I.T, i'm practically invisible, i'm nearest the door next to a group of chavs who pretend i'm not there. I haven't seen my brother in over a year, i was always close to him when he lived with us though, i used to be in his room a lot i remember the band posters and the football ones and i remember him forcing me to listen to Queen, my sister is Autistic, mentally disabled, she doesn't really see the world as every one else does, when she was a baby she wouldn't make eye contact with my parents and she didn't learn to talk off people, she learned off TV so she has a bit of an american accent, cause she used to watch both american and English shows, my mum is treasurer for the Lincolnshire autistic society so i have to go to fun raising events so i have met a lot of autistic people, i have a sort of skill, i can tell if people are autistic, when i first met my ex boyfriend when i was about 9 or something, i asked my parents after wards "Is he special like Amy?" (that's my sister's name by the way) and last year he got diagnosed with asbergous syndrome (sort of autism), i am the youngest in my family, my brother (Sam) is 12 years older than me and Amy is 10 years older than me, but if me and Amy are alone at home while mum and dad are out i'm in charge but we don;t tell her, she lives off benefits and my mum has saved them being cut, she can work and her carers are trying to get her a job working at a pre school reading stories cause when i was 7 we went to Devon on holiday and i shared a bedroom with her and she used to make up stories and tell them to me, she talks to herself a lot, she makes up stories and does the voices and every thing, you get used to it after 14 years of it, you would like her if you met her, she can't say anything mean about any one she's lovely and a amazing sister though sometimes she can get very annoying i still love her to bits and i'm very protective of her, we all are, the only time my brother got into a fight was when someone called her stupid, and some one in my form called her "Mentally retarded" so i punched her and when she was 8 they were at Butlins and she was riding her bike around and probably talking to herself as usual, and these boys started laughing and throwing stones at her, so my dad went storming over and started shouting at these kids, NO ONE INSULTS AMY WITHOUT GETTING AWAY WITH IT

Author's response

I wish my mum and dad didn`t care about that sort of thing, but they do, the hate the style I have and she keeps trying to change me.
I`m sorry to hear about your sister, it must be hard sometimes. My best friend has a few learning difficulties and has a lot of health problems, when she was born they had to operate and they didn`t think she would live more than a few hours. Now she`s 16 and is the msot amzing kid ever. I once beat the shit out of someone who talked bad about her, they havn`t looked at me since. It can be scary sometimes, she used to have a tube in her neck thatt went down her windpipe called a traceosteme(not the right spelling but is kinda how you say it) that breathed for her and she got it took out a few years ago but she nearly died.I know it isn`t the same as having a sister, and she doesn`t have what your sister has, but it is scary. Hope you and your fridns/family have a good weekend
