just to add, it is actually very warm in the cemetery's in Flanders, its strange, you feel numb, most of them are near busy roads but you cant hear the traffic, you also spend a hell of alot of time in there without realising it, its gut wrenching, i mostly went to ww1 cemetery's, but the same goes for both wars, they were horrible,
as i said, i do alot of work with the RBL and i ended up laying a wreath at the Menin gate in Ypres. the amount of people in that small space watching as you march under the names of the missing of WW1 is over whelming. I hope to go on remembrance day like my dad did, and do the same again. Remembrance is the least we owe the Fallen of any conflict.
