If you want it called anything in perticular: Lila is the band merch for FOB who Pete and Patrick are trying to catch her attention, which Patrick feels inferior since Pete always gets the girl. However Lila sees through Pete and falls for Patrick. Sort of like the 'geek get the girl' kind of thing.
