Thank you so much. It's just what I needed to hear, especially about it being about my mum and not about me. It's really got me thinking. This has really helped me and the fact that you took the time/effort to write something like that for me is just amazing. I can't even begin to describe how this has touched me. I was nearly in tears by the end. The conversation that you did when it kind of came out is actually pretty close to how it happened in reality, apart from without a boyfriend.
