Not everyone who listens to MCR cuts themself. I don't. I also have a great life, and I don't think I ever needed it saved. (Breaking your ill-informed stereotype). I've never credited my current and continued existence to a band. And I think the real hypocrite here is you. You come on this site and post some horrible insulting shit and then sit there all high-and-mighty, laughing as people defend themselves against your groundless accusations.
Also, you're missing an important part of this whole argument that tou're trying to make: teenagers are meant to be immature and stupid. We're supposed to say stupid things and believe that the world is ending when we bomb a test. We are meant to listen to loud, obnoxious, and admittedly shitty music (Be aware that all music is relative). This whole period of time called young adulthood was invented when people started marrying later and needed time to mature and gain enough life experience to be considered legal adults. It's true that shit happens to people and that some teenagers are forced to grow up too fast, and that is one of the world's greatest tragedies. Another is that some poor people who don't even have houses or warm food only have a miserable fuck like you to call a friend. My heart goes out to them.
