Kurt had a serious stomach condition that caused him great pain, not sure of the name of it though. He selfmedicated with heroine which he had previously said in interviews that he didn't enjoy but without it the pain was even more intense. People are still arguing 17 years after the fact (omg I'm old) that Courtney Love had something to do with his death, or her family at least. Courtney was having affairs with Jordie White (Twiggy Ramirez from Marilyn Manson) and Billy Corgan (Smashing Pumpkins - who actually wrote most of Celebrity Skin for her). In any case, regardless of the fact of whether he killed himself (But he was found shot in the head, with the gun laying across his chest, hmmmm...) or not but the fact remains that he was a legend and very influencial to millions of grunge kids. =)
