Harry's lie may have hit a bit closer to the mark than he thinks. Maybe Lily tried something experimental and had 'interesting' side effects. Somehow, when Voldemort's killing curse hit Harry after Lily's sacrifice, the magical world's perception of him changed to that of a woman. And since Harry was being struck with Voldemort's magic at the time, he was affected as well. I say the magical world's perception, because Harry's Muggle relatives were apparently not affected.
This leads me to wonder what will happen with Voldemort's return. Will his Death Eaters refer to him as the Dark Lady, or call him 'My Lady' to his face? What will his response be when he can't get his Death Eaters to respect his masculinity, even with torture?
The question diresaint raised about physical interaction occurred to me as well, but I was thinking of Harry, in his frustration, grabbing a girls hand and thrusting it down his pants and asking 'Does that feel like a girl?' and that girl would, of course, be very embarrassed and say yes, and run off. That won't happen, but it would be funny.
I am curious what Madam Pomfrey would find in a full medical examination. Would the presence of female internal organs be detected? If not, would there be any potential mishaps resulting from treatments meant for a girl being given to a boy?
I like this story a great deal. I hope you keep it going.

Yes, these are good questions - which I've thought about. Let's just see people see what they expect to see and rationalize after the fact any discrepancies.
