...Oh My Gosh!!!!! This was amazing!! I loved it. I was reading the scene where Pete said Mikey was curled up into him like a tortoise and I kinda stopped my thoughts about how wonderful and sad and beautiful it was to imagine Mikey as a toroise and how cute it would be. I kinda wanted a picture.
Anyway, I really liked how the board was such an important focus in the beginning of the chapter. It was a really clever way to get Pete to learn more about Gerard and about what he feels for Pete. At first, I kinda thought that the ripped picture was something Gerard did maybe a while before and Mikey kept it there as a reminder that he wasn't a good brother and that Gerard is too good a brother for him. Too much overthinking I guess, but I liked that that wasn't the case because Mikey doesn't deserve all the stuff that Gerard says to him.
I'm practically shaking with happiness and shock and I don't even know. I also really liked how Mikey's room was something that Pete said is just something typical to him. Of course he'd have bass and band things all over his room, and of course his wall color matched him perfectly. It's such a sweet thing for Pete to to do. Also, Mikey just seems like he's really neat, almost too neat and organized, so that's how I imagined it. I just wanted to see that. I also really liked that Mikey was so open with Pete and that he's really starting to trust him. Pete has already learned so much about him just staying in that room. It's another thing that shows that Mikey really likes Pete. Also, I really liked that Pete had a little song for him. That was so sweet and cute. They have these little things that make them seem like a couple and are really small, but are also really special. The fact that Mikey leaned forward first. That was such an important fact and its exactly what Pete wanted and it proves that Mikey is getting comfortable with him. Pete knows about Gerard and Mikey's mom and the fact that Mikey leaned forward first was pure proof that Mikey really trusts him. You have such a unique, original style of writing. Sometimes I may mistake a story to be by one author and it is really by another, but I would be able to know yours immediately. There's nothing like it. I really love your writing. By the way, I read those two Pikey fics. They were really great, and I especially liked the oneshot, but I LOVE the Pikey in this. It's so well written and beautiful and sad, not too sad though. I really liked this. Can't wait for more.

Now that you mention it, I can kinda picture the Mikey in this as a tortoise. All curled up and timid and quiet. Is it weird that I can see Mikey as a tortoise? Oh well.
I'm really pleased that you liked the whole pin-board thing. I wanted there to be something for Pete, as well as the reader, to focus on and learn from; the pin-board was the only thing that I could really think of to do that. I wanted it to show how much Pete means to Mikey, even more than Gerard does because Pete's tab is overlapping a photo of Gerard and not the other way around. So I hope that that came across alright.
I really like your idea about the ripped photograph being torn by Gerard. That could still be a possiblity; Pete was just presuming those things about it so your idea could be spot-on. We'll never know...
With the room being like Mikey it was just a case of me not having any good and original way to describe the room, but I'm really pleased that you liked it and thought that it was sweet for Pete to think that way. I wanted to use that to make Pete seem like he really does understand and love Mikey and that he cares enough about Mikey to analyse his room like that.
I kinda like the song thing too, I know I shouldn't say that, I wanted to make them seem kinda couply and close so I inserted the stuff about the song. I'm glad that you thought it was cute, that's the sort of feeling I wanted it to give off so it's good to know that you thought of it like that.
