Why does Gerard insist that he knows everything about Mikey?
Why did he automatically assume that Mikey didn't like the position he was in?
Gerard needs to suck it up and realize he doesn't know his brother anymore, and then actually make an effort at restoring their relationship.
I hope Frank gets his scrawny butt up to Mikey's room before Gerard or Pete does anything stupid.

I completely agree with all that you have just said; Gerard does need to suck it up and try to actually do the right thing for once instead of doing what he wants to be the right thing.
