Perfectly Imperfect

This is such a great story, I can't even explain how awesome it is. I love that you told us how it all started, I feel so terrible for Mikey. Poor kid, he hasn't ever done anything wrong yet he still believes he deserves to be punished and believes what Gerard and his dad say! And I loved when you sajd he was already dead at thirteen, that seemed really fitting. He's so messed up, I just want to hug him until he feels all better D: I guess that's Pete's job though. Aaagh, I'm so sad for Mikey xD But I'm soooooooo excited for more!

Author's response

Thank you very much; I'm soooo glad that you think this story is alright!
I really wanted to show how Mikey got to be the way he is and this was the only way I could think to do that. I wasn't all that sure if it worked at all well, so it's really nice to know that you liked being told how it all began.
Mikey is a completely innocent kid who only hates himself because of what other people tell him/other people's reactions to him and the things that he does, so when a family member says something it does a lot of damage because, well, they're his family and why would they lie?
I kinda want to hug Mikey too, but you're right; that's Pete's job now.
Thank you very much for taking the time to review! :)
