It seems that everytime Gerard isn't there, things seem a tiny bit less tense. But Mikey does need him. Like he needs Pete and food. Yes, he needs food. I'm dying with excitement... I'm glad that you can see that Mikey does need Gerard, I really wanted that to come across in this chapter so I'm pleased that you picked up on that. And yes, he absolutely does need food.
