hey, nice story. Harry seems a bit stupid for a Ravenclaw. I know the questions Snape asked were beyond 1st yr level, but nevertheless. I find it hard to beleive that Sirius or James, have not taught him anything. If he is to pull of pranks then he should know some spells. Also Lily being as smart as she is would have taught her Son something. Along with Remus and Andy and Cissa, they all seem to adore Harry.
For a child of a brilliant witch and the son of the Mauraders he seems to be an idiot, has no or very little tact. Sure he can sweet talk a few people.
I don't mean to make him a genious, who should be taking his NEWTs or OWLs, but right now he is a fool.
Anyway i live the interactions with ALL the girls. Penny is nice. The guys don't seem all that interested or important in your story.
Congrats and Update soon, i hope wht i said makes sense above. cheers
Author's response
Thank you for taking the time to review. To your point I'm doing it from my perspective, Hermione knows so much because she felt inadequate and that she'd be behind. Harry's been there all along, so why would he read the book before going to the class? Isn't that what the class is for to learn these things? He's pulled pranks using items from a joke shop or without using magic, he's only had his wand for a month. It'll be pointed out later that he's been shown History of Magic, thus why he gets bored with Binns. In regard to the situation with Snape, it's very volatile and Harry being only 11 won't be the most fluent when his emotions are so intense. I honestly thought he looked just like another first year. Harry grew up in a mostly female dominated environment, so yes he'll be more interactive with them. A lot of boys that age will have contradictory feelings concerning Harry's fame, and since Harry is receptive to girls it's like just a mutual thing to happen. One of the big reasons for putting Harry into Ravenclaw was Penelope, she'll definitely be an important figure for Harry with Nym not always around do to being in another house. Again thank you for your thoughts, I loved responding to them.
