Wow! I think you did an amazing job on this. I really loved how Gerard was so loving and caring and how Mikey seemed to change from being innocent and sweet to being almost... I don't know, sort of evil(?) No not evil actually. Just sort of the opposite to being innocent and cute if you get me??? I'll stop blabbing. I really enjoyed reading this. I think it really captured the mind of a depressed teenager and a worried brother. I also think Gerard is really loyal to Mikey. The fact that he didn't tell their parents that Mikey has been cutting himself. It shows the strong caring relationship between them and it jerked a tear or two as I read the ending. Absolutely brilliant!!!

Gerard was consistently caring towards Mikey, but as life went on Mikey changed because of what the changes in his life did to him. I get what you mean; Mikey didn't go evil, he just got worn down and beaten in too many times, thus ruining his innocent cuteness. Gerard is definitely loyal to Mikey, but perhaps is it was that loyalty preventing him from telling his parents that was ultimately Mikey's downfall?
