Playing with power

That is messed up.

All of that. This whole story actually.

I got my peace out though with my last review, and don't get me wrong I still feel that way but there's no point in repeating it all.

Frank is just an idiot. This is definitely a case where repeated ignorance is not bliss. Truth be told, with his situation, I think he's passed ignorance. Now he's engaging in what would be termed textbook stupidity. He can't see the vicious cycle going on here and Gerard, he's just sadistic and delusional.

Author's response

I'm sorry to hear the story is still creeping you out so much :')
Hopefully you read my response to your last review, and my position still stands of course. I think it's important to remember here this is just a piece of a fiction, everything these characters do, think or feel is entirely my own creation. I wouldn't say Frank is being "textbook stupid" which I'm pretty sure is not the technical term for it xD If we're gonna get technical I'd say Frank's falling into some textbook stockholm syndrome. Gerard's actually the kindest person he's been 'owned' by and so if he didn't start to feel some gratefulness for that and some positivety towards Gerard then he'd actually be pretty strange. He's been in captivity since he was fourteen, it's important to remember in this entire thing that Frank's psychological state is going to be pretty delicate and very suggestable. And Gerard isn't really the sick character in this if you ask me...
Anyway, that's just my view on it. But what would I know, I'm just the author :')
