I like it!
I've seen stories like Harry gotten thrown into a different universe and nobody suspected his identity for a long time. To be honest, I'm an impatient person and always find such plot unbearable. I mean, I can understand it's not common someday you wake up and find out your friend or child is not himself but an impostor instead, but having read so much similar stories yet most of which were abandoned before the cat got out of the bag is frustrating. And therefore I became almost more impatient for such stories since I'm tired of waiting and waiting but could never actually read the part of truth come out. So when I read your story I think it's amazing. I love they way James demanded "Who are you" and later "Maybe not"; I think he is a good man and a good father.
Author's response
I really glad that you like it so far. I felt that I wanted to do something a bit different with this story rather than following the normal formula for a 'Harry travels to a different world' story. I'm glad you like James as well. I've read one to many stories that vilify him and Lily and make them horrible parents to Harry. I've always felt that had James and Lily lived, they would have been great parents to Harry.
