Background! Background is good. Helps set a nice scene. I think this may be one of those fics I like to call "classic", basically cuz they're these lovely (long) epics with loads of elaborate worlds 'n stuff... well, maybe a mini-epic, since it's not that long, but it's still feels like one. Also, all the epics I have read (one for "Inu-yasha" and one for "Outlaw Star") have canon pairings, classic boy/girl. AND THIS FIC HAS NO HARADA TWINS!!! ^_^ I love you.
