This is great!!! I loved it. This definitely captured the love they had for each other in a very unique way. It's obvious that Mikey's so upset about being the reason Pete can't go out on his birthday because he loves him and wants the best for him. He wants such an important day to be celebrated in a special way. He thinks there's nothing special about staying in. Pete, of course, doesn't have a problem with it because he'd prefer Mikey to be safe in his home than out in a restaurant with loads of people and be scared. There's no way to convince Mikey that Pete really doesn't have a problem with staying home. He even prefers it, but Mikey just won't believe it. It seems like Mikey just wishes not to be a problem to anyone. He just wants to stay out of trouble and make things as easy as possible for everyone else, and if he does cause trouble he gets really upset. Pete is almost desperate for Mikey to know how much he really isn't bothered by staying home that he will use any tactic available. Of course this is one of those tactics that are less innocent, but more likely to work. And also very hot. Lastly, that dessert line was pretty much the best thing I've ever seen. Well, this was an awesome story. Fantastic job!!!

Thank you very much!
I really wanted to show how much they love each other with this, so I'm glad it came through without being too cliched. Mikey just wants Pete to be happy and to be able to celebrate, but he just can't see that simply spending time together is special enough for Pete. Pete, as you said, has Mikey's best interests at heart and would rather he was safe with him than in a situation that would make him frightened. You're definitely right about Mikey not wanting to be a problem; he just wants to make everyone, especially Pete, happy. I'm glad you think it's kinda hot, that's something I usually suck at (pun intended)!
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave such a kind and detailed review! Thanks! :D
