Exactly, that's what I mean. People on this site really do want to be able to visit a site where everybody respects eachother, but at times some people make an accout to automatically insult everyone which is as you've said; wrong.
Pretty much all authors on this site appreciate constructive criticism as long as it's respectful. The authors do take note on the suggestions and try to make it better. Not only to satisfy the reader, but to improve their work for themselves. There are a lot of amazing stories that vary in pairings it just takes time finding it. As you said, It all depends on what interests you which is why you'll find loads of fics based of Frerard. Of course, I agree, A great story is a great story. It's simple to imagine it with different characters and such to make it better for yourself.
