I stumbled across the first 4 chapters in aff, and was really pleased to find this 5th chapter. Considering how long it's been since the last update, I'm assuming this story has been abandoned, but if it hasn't, it would be tremendous to see it continued at some point.
Overall, I thought the writing was excellent, as were the characterisations. Nice to see a realistic non-asexual teenaged Harry, and also nice to see this same drive actually opening him up, rather than being a scourge. A little like the ethos behind "His Dark Materials". Really well done, and great idea.
