I loved that you didn't switch tenses all the time. I find that so distracting.

You're very welcome! I think that's the first time anyone's ever thanked me for being a great (good) writer. It tickles my insides.
Oh, and the switching of the tenses? Yeah, that distracts me as well - and pisses me off to the point of not reading what I'm reading anymore. It's also kind of disappointing. But what can you do, right? :)
