I think youre rushing the story a bit too much. People dont say they love someone within a couple days of knowing each other. If you had waited a couple more chapters for the self harm reveal, it would be much more dramatic and interesting. I would have liked it if you let their friendship grow a bit more before they kissed. Just try and think about what might actually happen.
