Well I have eleven piercings (sadly not a lip...yet) and while none of mine have really bothered me I have heard that taking ibruprofen painkillers which help with swelling ar any pain pills that are designed to help with swelling I suppose and sucking on ice/ hold small ice pack up to the lip to numb the area. While sweeling, lip piercings like any oral piercing can affect eating, so I suggest eating softer food. And definetley nothing spicy! Just keep it clean and try not to nudge it and it should ease soon. And remembee to drink lots of cool drinks that should help too.
Hang in there darling, it'll be worth it when it is al healed.
