The Cure for Boredom

This is amazing! Gerard and Mikey's relationship kind of reminds me of how me and my sister are and makes me think about what it'll be like without her once she starts college in January. I know there won't be a Pete Wentz for me, though, and that kinda sucks. Anyway, I thought the idea was really original. I liked that Pete was caring enough to bring Mikey to his home for chocolate milk and horror movies. And then I nearly crawled up in a ball when Pete explained how he wanted Mikey to be his because that was so cute. I liked how Patrick and Gerard, even if they weren't mentioned as often as Pete and Mikey, seemed to be the type of people you could go to for help or if you needed to talk. This story really made me feel so many different emotions in it. It was so sweet and funny, yet it was still a bit serious times. I'll admit that I made a few non human sounds while reading this. Anyway, this was fantastic and I really loved it. Great job!!!

Author's response

Thank you very much! I'm sure you'll find your own Pete Wentz to look after you when your sister goes to college. I'm glad you think the idea is original; most of my stuff comes out really samey/cliched, so it means a lot to me that you think that. Gerard and Patrick were definitely meant to be the kind of 'go-to' guys in this, so it's good that you got that.

Thank you very, very much for such a detailed and kind review! :D :D :D
