Well, this is a late review, and I'm sorry, but I love this story. It makes lots of sense and seems so real, all the people and their actions and stuff. And also your characterization of Eliza seems to line up with my knowledge of her, and it's pretty cool that you could include her in the story, I don't see many authors that deal with that part of Gee's life. (Well really I don't know a whole lot about Eliza, all I know is from Commit Me Already.)
