This entry doesn't stand up to the others. The idea that a high school boy would speak so to a Jewish classmate and expect no repurcussions whatsoever... from adults, maybe, but not from his other classmates. It doesn't seem as plausible as your other chapters.
The journal entry doesn't seem realistic. It's far too convenient to Joey's plans for Mark, but not convenient enough for me to think that he made it up.
