While it was easy to see the characters in combat, though Draco was a bit vague descriptor wise for the sake of mystery, it was a bit jarring for the battle in the forest to end at Dracula’s drawbridge/doorstep… There were no hints in the text that they were that close, or moving that much, so it sounded like they were still in the depths of the forest of silence, a misty, dripping, muddy, forest, but still within its confines… So that drawbridge part was a bit jarring.
Also, I hope this is cleared up later in… but wasn’t Henry rescued by Cornel in the N64 game, I recall him taking Cornel’s moon amulet if I am not mistaken? If you are adhering to canon than how did he encounter Reinherdt, how did they drift apart (Henry/Cornel?) I hope you take time to explain beyond Cornel’s moment of reflection as I adore character backstory and dynamics.
Also, I noticed this last chapter as well as here but the chapters are double posting, one atop the other. I combed over both posts carefully and it seems as if they are perfect duplicates… Were you aware of this?

Hello! ^_^
Thank you for the reviews! I so rarely get feedback from ficwad, I sometimes forget I even have an account here o.O In fact my email was sending all your reviews to my junk/spam folder!
As to the duplications...I've not seen them. In my story list, it just shows the single chapters...
And for character backstory and dynamics, I love them too! I also adore the 64 cast - primarily because that is the games that got me into Castlevania XD
In fact, I play them over and over again to try to get the feel for the atmosphere and descriptions. I also always go back and edit and update my chapters to try to keep the story flow and plot consistent ^^
