Oh Well, it would probably have been too boring for him to just pick up a Horcrux without any struggle. And on that note, onw of the things I think works well is how Porteur, a powerful fighter, is forced to make do with the younger Harry's weaker body, hopefully it will lead to fights where he will try to win the day by using his intellect, instead of just blowing things up.
