Wow, this review is coming sooooo long after you initially posted this chapter...
Anyhoo, I think that eventually, Dumbledore or someone would have given a short interview telling the Wizarding World what, precisely had happened, since the world did deserve to know. If I were interviewing him, I certainly would have asked if baby Harry had any repercussions from his defeat of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.
I also wanted to tell you that this has to be my favorite chapter so far! I really enjoyed the confrontation between Harry and Remus and liked the way this went better than JK, tbh. Probably the only problem I've had so far, and it's gotten better as the story's progressed, is that Harry always seems to "just know" or "just guess" things in a way most people don't think. Like with the Spattergroit ghoul, I think letting Ron tell Harry, "this is what I did, isn't it brilliant?" would have made more sense than "oh, with my spontaneously super-awesome deduction skills, this is what I think and oh look I'm right!" just because it's borderline Gary-Stu, which is always annoying.
Besides that bit, I absolutely love the story so far, and your writing style. I can't wait to see where you go with this story and what changes you make to canon. Good luck writing (I know how much it sucks to have so much written, then have to suddenly readjust it all)!
