I like this start! Several things intrigued me as I read it ... the idea of Ginny being easily imperiused (and proceeding to cripple poor Harry). Don't know if she died because Voldemort actually had her under the Imperius when he left this mortal coil?
Don't know if I like the idea of Harry and Remus sharing Tonks as a lover, but it was still interesting ... and a first for you, I think, H/Tonks?
How come the three children with Hermione on the day of the ritual are named Granger, when Hermione is married to Ron and introduced in the first sentence as having the Weasley surname? I like how you had her still having loved Harry.
I like letting us see how the old timeline ended up rather than shooting us straight into timeline #2.
Amusing treatment of Ron in the aftermath, viz the divorce and his annual whisky toast.
I don't know how I'll find the rest of the story, since it will be dealing with a whole generation removed from Harry and his usual Hogwarts cohorts, but I enjoyed this first chapter, thanks!
