The whole five mile run thing was impractical. I was the captain of my high school varsity cross-country team and to make a point a person that is not used to running will not be able to run five miles, let alone after having the flu. Change that to five kilometers and it would sound more reasonable(3.1 miles).
Just wanted to let you know so as to help make it realistic. Very good fic though and I will leave a review with chapter 30 once I get to it.
