Review for A THOUSAND YEARS

A THOUSAND YEARS

Overall, It was ok until the afterlife portion.

I hate abused Harry stories where he gets to see everything he ever wants in the afterlife and they go "-but things went wrong and you have to fix it" and the moron simply goes...

"Ok"

There was no arguing. No help provided. The Harry you were slowly building up would have told everyone to go screw themselves, epically since hermione would be there but wouldn't be. Once again he was being used as a "pawn" to fix problems other people created.

That whole part of the story should really be revised to match the personality of Harry while alive.

Author's response

Hello, Plums.

Not necessarily. I also despise stories where he just meekly goes back only to turn into the MOB’s patsy again. Here, he has a definite plan, which does not include anything Dumbledore wants. You’ll see that throughout the rest of the story.

He agreed because Merlin presented him a reasonable idea and he has had a thousand years of learning to make sure things don’t get all cocked up this time. He also has Hermione’s tacit approval, and that means a great deal to him.

Hermione is going to be there, but she won’t be the adult he knew. She’ll be a little girl he would like to get to know.

No revamping intended. His attitude is sneaky and underhanded yet entirely within his canon personality (If you squint.) He understands that he was a pawn in his first life, and has no intention of being so again.

I hope you continue to read.
