Come now, stop that. Just because something goes unnoticed does not mean it's terrible. And so you said something that offended people, it's going to happen. It's the past, and it can only hurt you if you let it. If you need to leave, leave. If you think it'll really help you, please do so. But don't go thinking badly of yourself. You are a wonderful person. It doesn't matter who you used to be or what you did before. As of now, you're amazing and you have the right to be here.
